- Taking the lead on developing and executing PR strategies for key Rakuten Group announcements
- Planning and managing media interviews Rakuten Group senior executives, as well as coordinating press conferences and other media events
- Planning, drafting and distributing press releases for announcements
- Building a wide range of media relations, including top-tier global publications and news networks
- Responding to media inquiries, conducting interviews, and communicating with key executives on PR messaging
- Sharing information externally through Rakuten’s owned media channels
- Creative and design support for Rakuten executive presentations
- Strategic counsel and subject matter expertise to business units globally on online corporate media presence
- Working directly with Rakuten Group subsidiaries around the world to support PR activities for the entire Rakuten Group.
求められるスキルは: 必須 Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of media or communication experience in media organization or PR agency
- Experience in planning and implementing PR strategies
- Experience in planning, writing, editing and distributing press releases and other corporate communications materials
- Excellent journalistic and editorial skills
- Strong project and budget management skills
- Proven skills in managing production and agency resources
- Experience in planning, coordinating and managing press conferences, press events and media relations
- Proven ability to work effectively and responsively within a complex and dynamic global business environment and interact with senior executives
- Business-level Japanese a must (native level not required)
